This cream is purely coconut, creamy, sugary, deliciousness!! Makes the perfect pancake topping, ice cream topping, and, you know it, the secret to delicious piña coladas!
What You Need:
- -1 can of full-fat coconut milk (Approx. 13.5oz)
- 1/3 cup brown sugar
- 3/4 cup toasted unsweetend coconut flakes
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/2 tsp kosher salt
- Pinch of cinnamon
- A large saucepan
1.Combine coconut milk and brown sugar in pan and heat to medium high. Stir until homogeneous and bring to a simmer.
2. Once simmering, stir to avoid spillage. Let simmer for 3 minutes.
3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla, salt, and cinnamon. Then add coconut flakes and stir.
4.Serve hot onto pancakes, and other warm goods! Let cool before serving on ice cream, or using in piña coladas!
