Watermelon Salad

What better way to enjoy Spring Break than by pretending it’s Summer! Haha, but really, this watermelon salad tastes like summer. It’s bright, crisp, and refreshing; all of which make the best accompaniment for a summer-like day. Write down the ingredients, and head to the grocery store! I promise, you won’t regret it 🙂

Ingredients:

-32oz Watermelon (Cubed)

-1/3 cup Feta (Crumbled)

-4 Large Fresh Basil Leaves

-3 Tbsp Olive Oil

-2 Tbsp Lime Juice

-2 Tbsp Honey

-Pinch of Salt (Be Generous)

Steps:

1)Chop watermelon into 1cm cubes and set in a large bowl.

2)In a small bowl stir together olive oil, lime juice, and salt. Pour over watermelon and toss.

3)Tear basil leaves and sprinkle over watermelon and toss.

4)Crumble feta onto watermelon and toss.

5)Top with extra basil and feta (optional). Drizzle honey over top.

Serve & Enjoy!
